Title: MFCC batch process
Post by: KFCC on April 07, 2009, 00:08:36
Hi,
I'm not familiar with C\C++ so trying to use the source code is a bit tricky. However, I need the MFCC functionality provided in the Feature Extractor plugin. I have 100 MP3 files to scan and would like to automate the process of finding the MFCC of each mp3 and outputting it to a file. Is there a way of scripting this, or batch processing? I wasn't sure whether I should post here or the sonic visualiser forum, so apologies if it's in the wrong forum.
Thanks for any help

KFCC,

This sounds like exactly the kind of task that Sonic Annotator (http://omras2.org/SonicAnnotator) was intended for.  It runs one or more plugins against any number of audio files and writes out the results to text files or RDF.
