Installation of Vamp plug-ins

(1/1)

derf:
I placed in the file Plug-ins Vamp of the file Program Files INs the hard disk of my computer the following plugins: qm-vamp-plugins.dll vamp-aubio.dll vamp-libxtract.dll. The problem is that they do not appear in the software. I parametrized in the Preferences.
My question is thus the following one: this plug-ins works-t-ils under Windows 8 64 bits?
Thank you for your answer.

Hi -- all the Windows builds of plugins linked at http://vamp-plugins.org/download.html are 32-bit versions, but they will work fine in a 64-bit version of Windows so long as the host is also 32-bit.

(64-bit Windows is happy to run 32-bit binaries, but the host and plugin must match -- in this case both must be 32-bit.)

The installation folders are listed at the bottom of http://vamp-plugins.org/download.html. Note that on a 64-bit Windows, you must install 32-bit plugins in

--- Code: ---C:\Program Files (x86)\Vamp Plugins
--- End code ---

or your language's localised equivalent -- with the (x86) suffix -- and not just in Program Files.

I tried to install Vamp Plugins to Windows XP. I tried all hints in the Internet without success. Finally i succeeded: c:\Vamp Plugins is my folder to install VP there. I am very happy after 3 days of work to install.

Perhaps...
But my Win7/64 gives me msvcp100.dll - errors resulting in sonic visualizer doesn't recognize any plugin (no matter where I place it/them). I placed \Vamp Plugins in c:\Programme (86), in \sonic visualizer, I used sonic visualizer as zipped executable and installed - in every possible combination. Always msvcp100.dll missing - but this file in fact isn't missing and works well for other applications  :o >:( . Any idea???
