plugin that calculates the difference s of two audio signals

Hi,

I'm looking for a plugin that displays the differences of two audio signals preferably in spectral domain for sonic-visualizer. I guess there doesn't exist such a thing but I would write one if it is possible to get two audio signals in sonic visualizer directed to one plugin. Will this be feasible without having to change something in sonic-visualizer?
