I want to visually compare the waveforms from different time segments from two mp3 files against each other.

i.e I want to compare waveform at time offset 15 sec in one file against waveform at time offset 30 second in the second file.

I have imported both the files, one using the import secondary file option. However I am unable to time scroll the waveform frames independently. How can I horizontally scroll the two waveform panes ?

Sandy,

I'm afraid it isn't possible in current versions of SV to load two files at different "start offsets".  All of the loaded files effectively start from time 0 on the timeline.

I think there may be an outstanding feature request for this -- it would certainly be a useful feature sometimes -- but it's not there now.
